Connecting Stitch Express + Shopify

Stitch Express and Shopify have made sure that activating Stitch Express on your store is very simple.

Before you get started:

  • Make sure you have an activated Stitch Express Account - check out this handy guide to get going if not

  • Open the Connections page on the Stitch Express dashboard

  • Click "Connect" under Shopify

  • Follow the steps and click "Install Stitch Express"

  • You will be redirected to your Shopify store

  • Click "Install" on Shopify

  • Then Click "Activate

Process refunds on Shopify

  • With Stitch Express you can process refunds directly on your Shopify orders page.

  • Scroll to the order you wish to refund and open it.

  • Click Refund at the top right-hand corner to open the Refund panel.

  • Stitch Express enables you to refund an order completely or partially.

  • Enter the amount you want to refund and confirm the refund.

  • Stitch Express will then process the refund to your customer.

  • The refund will appear as pending in your order timeline.

Important to note:

  • It takes 3-12 working days for your customer to receive the refund

    • Stitch will update your order when the refund is completed

  • The refund amount is taken from your Stitch Express Balance, therefore it is important to ensure your Stitch Express Balance is sufficient to cover any refunds.
